Simon set new bests for Stableford (35) and Gross (84), Bob(16) equalled his all time record for the 'Bum Round' - despite playing off 14, i.e. 2 more shots than last time! Simon got a 2 on the 8th.

24-Apr-04	Simon(31) beat Bob by 1. Bob&Simon beat Barry&Mike 2&1. The course was a little tidier, all permanent greens - but they were still heavily spiked & sanded.
17-Apr-04	Bob(32) beat Simon by 2. Barry&Simon beat Bob&Mike 4&3 - an easy win. Bob & Simon got 2s at the 206 yard 8th, (Bob having run through a greenside bunker, got a free drop from GUR which meant he didn't have to stand down in the bunker to play his next shot, chipped over a grass bank and the ball ran gently into the hole - Simon hole a 20 foot putt after a great tee shot). The course was a lot tidier, all permanent greens - but they had been heavily spiked & sanded.
10-Apr-04	Simon(32) beat Bob by 5, Mike posted an excellent 'Bum Round' of 20! Mike&Simon beat Barry&Bob 2&1 in a tight match. Bob got a 2 at the 169 yard 3rd, but it was down to a 20 foot putt into the wide hole on the temp 'green' The course was in scruffy condition again - mainly temps (so many that they didn't have enough wide holes!) or spiked greens.
3-Apr-04	Bob(32) beat Barry by 3. Barry&Mike beat Bob&Simon 1 hole having been 3 down. The course was in scruffy condition with very poor greens and a few temps (with wide holes). Started at 7:30 & finished at 11:30 despite the number of shots we took! Good bar service and food - excellent pint of Spitfire.
