22nd September Dave (40 points) won - he beat JohnH on countback. The roll-over 2s pot (£11.50) was won by Dave with 2 2s! JohnC still leads .... by 8 points from Ian, and has the best average - 38.3 (0.5 ahead of Ian).

15th September Ian (43 points) won by 2 from JohnC. The 2s pot (£5.50) rolled-over. JohnC still leads .... by 15 points from Ian, and has the best average - 38.3 (1.0 ahead of Ian).

8th September TonyC (39 points) won - he beat Bunny on countback. Bunny won the 2s pot (£6). JohnC still leads .... by 20 points from Ian & Bunny, and has the best average - 37.9 (1.3 ahead of Ian & Bunny).

1st September Brian (44 points) won by 6(!) from Ian - equalling Ian's magnificent score of the 16th June. JohnC won the 2s pot (£5). TonyS recorded this competition's (and the all-time) low score of 15 points! JohnC still leads .... by 27 points from Bunny, and has the best average - 37.8 (1.0 ahead of Ian).

25th August Bob (41 points) won by 2 from Brian and Ian, and with 2 2s won 2/3rds of the 2s pot (£4.50) - Bunny got the 3rd 2. JohnC still leads .... by 46 points from Brian, and has the best average - 37.6 (0.9 ahead of Ian).

11th August Keith (42 points) won by 1 from JohnC and Ted, and won the 2s pot (£6). JohnC still leads .... by 81 points from Brian, and has the best average - 37.3 (0.8 ahead of Ian).

4th August Ian (40 points) won by 1 from JohnC and Mike. Barry won the 2s pot (£4.50). TonyS matched the low score of 23 points (Barry 16th June & Ted 7th April). JohnC still leads with an average of 37.1 (0.3 ahead of Ian).

28th July JohnH (41 points) won by 1 from Keith. Dave won the 2s pot (£5.50) having scored 39 points with a 27/12 split! JohnC still leads with an average of 36.9 (0.4 ahead of Ian).

21st July Mike (41 points) won by 3 from JohnC & TonyC. JohnC won the 2s pot (£5.50). JohnC still leads with an average of 36.9 (0.3 ahead of Ian).

14th July Round cancelled - torrential rain mid-way through the front 9.

7th July Bunny (40 points) won by 1 from Mike, and won the 2s pot (£4). JohnC still leads with an average of 36.8 (0.1 ahead of Bunny).

30th June 5 club challenge (Captain’s Day friendly): JohnH (38 points) won by 1 from Ian, and won the 2s pot (£3.50).

16th June Ian (44 points) won by 7(!) from Bob & JohnC - will this magnificent round be the best of the Summer 2001 competition? Barry matched Ted’s low score of 23 points (7th Apr). The 2s pot (£4.50) rolled-over. JohnC remains competition leader - by 11 from Brian!. Ian took over from Dave with the best average - 37.1.

2nd June Bunny (42 points) won by 1 from Ian who scored 25 on the front 9! The triple roll-over 2s pot (£22) was won by Barry. JohnC remains competition leader, by 1 from Bunny. Dave has the best average - 36.6.

26th May Brian (41 points off 19) won by 1 from Bob (gross 75 off 8), and was cut by 6 for this consecutive triumph! The 2s pot (£16.50) rolled-over again. JohnC remains competition leader, by 3 from Bunny. Dave has the best average - 36.0.

19th May Brian (39 points) won - he beat JohnC on countback. The 2s pot (£10.50) rolled-over again. JohnC took over the competition lead, by 7 from Bunny (in Dave’s absence).

12th May Bob (38 points) won - he beat Barry on countback. The 2s pot (£5.50) rolled-over. Dave remains competition leader, by 3 from JohnC.

5th May Keith (38 points) won by 1 from Bunny. Dave won the 2s pot (£5.50). Dave took back the competition lead, by 1 from Bunny & JohnC.

28th April JohnC (40 points) won - he beat Tony(C) on countback. Ian won the roll-over 2s pot (£11). Tony(C) took over the competition lead, by 2 from Dave, and also has the best average - 36.7.
